JOB PURPOSE The role holder is responsible for coordinating the maintenance of building fabric and infrastructure systems, equipment, repairs of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at the allotted locations in line with the maintenance and repairs schedule, policies and processes of the Bank.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake activities on Preventive Planned Maintenance Schedule and coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of the Bank’s premises ensuring all works are properly and duly undertaken and accounted for.
  • Conduct Building Risk Assessments of Physical Infrastructure, Soft services provision ensuring required property management or Service level needs are duly addressed or undertaken .
  • Ensure that costs submitted by service vendors on physical facility maintenance and repair works are competitive to ultimately ensure value for money and cost optimisation.
  • Liaise with Key actors in the Bank such as Securities and Investigations Department, Compliance and Internal Control Departments, E-Banking, etc. to monitor the security systems and procedures for buildings as well as the power infrastructure performance on ATMs and identify any issues for the appropriate interventions.
  • Engage the branches to keep log of issues relating to the set ups, maintenance and repair works required at the various Branches and outlets via the ‘ASMS’ portal and coordinate the resolution of the issues within stipulated turnaround time.
  • Monitor all Service level agreements to ensure that scope of services clearly defined and understood by vendors are delivered and escalate any issues for requiring higher authority redress for immediate resolution. 
  • Undertake urgent mini and adhoc projects such as the office churns and set-ups, relocations and property/building handovers and exits, new or additional cash collection points in accordance with guidelines from the Projects and Workplace team
  • Collate and input cost expended for all works done (both planned and reactive) into a cost tracker to enable Facilities Manager to make relevant recommendations

 

    

       QUALIFICATION/EXPE RIENCE:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Economy or any related discipline. 
  • A Minimum three (3) years of experience
