JOB PURPOSE: The role holder is responsible for undertaking all Building Projects objectives by Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Evaluating activities such as new branch openings, major refurbishment works, retrofit requirements, etc. The role is additionally required to create workspace per the requirements of the Bank.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-ordinate and mobilize the pre-contract activities such as Bills of Quantities, detailed project specifications etc. for large /medium scale and specialized building projects of the Bank for generation of RFPs or RFQ’s by the Procurement Department.
• Coordinate the activities of the project team, project working committee and/ or contractors working on each project to ensure conformity to project requirements including quality of work, appropriate work tools usage and specifications.
• Establish effective project communication lines to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are adequately informed on project matters and give clarity to stakeholders during sessions of engagement.
• Identify successful and unsuccessful project elements during project review analysis phase and document for future process flow implementation.
• Oversee and direct the daily activities of all Project Officers. Provide coaching and recommend appropriate training programs for officers to Unit Head to provide efficient services to the Bank.
• Provide guidelines to the facilities team for the smooth implementation of all Churn and relocation assignments nationwide.
• Prepare periodic project reports by gathering, analysing and summarizing relevant information as required by policy.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of six (6) years  experience in a similar role with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in Real Estate, Building Construction, Civil Engineering/Architecture, Property Management or Procurement, is an added advantage
