POSITION: TESTING OFFICER

DEPARTMENT: TECHNOLOGY - TESTING

BAND:  O1

JOB PURPOSE: To conduct testing and deployment of all developed applications in line with best practice and laid down procedures ensuring that such applications meet business and technical requirements and deliver value for the Bank

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design test plans and cases for review
• Performs testing activities of developed IT solutions to ensure they meet business specification requirements.
• Documents software bugs and recommends solutions to the development teams to ensure quick resolution and minimal disruption.
• Supports the coordinates the deployment of packaged solutions from test environments to live.
• Configures and conducts various automated testing methodologies to support Quality Assurance processes.
• Contributes to the preparation of periodic technical and management reports to guide efficient decision making.
• Coordinates user access training to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Development or related field
• A minimum of three (3) years' working experience in software development & testing within the financial services industry
• Certification(s) in Software Testing (CSTE, CSQA, etc) and/or IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation) is an added adavantge
