POSITION: INTEGRATION AND MIDDLEWARE DEVELOPER

DEPARTMENT: TECHNOLOGY – BUSINESS SOLUTIONS

BAND:  O4

JOB PURPOSE: Provides first level technical support in ensuring the coordination of all interacting systems with the Bank’s enterprise network and extended environments aimed at maintaining business continuity and ensuring operational efficiency.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support for all ICT-supported software applications, databases, and their integrations to ensure seamless business operations.
• Supports the implementation of solutions to system defects and provides first level technical assistance to resolve system integration and workflow errors.
• Contributes to the development and documentation of laid down integration policies and procedures to ensure consistency in activities within the department.
• Supports data change requests in adherence to privacy and data quality policies.
• Contributes to the implementation of and updates to systems to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug interfaces to identify errors

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least three (3) years' experience in software development, middleware integration or related role
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based applications
• Certification in software development (CSDP, etc.) and/or middleware integration (WS02 Certification, etc.) is an added advantage
