POSITION: ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Banks enterprise IT architecture framework, ensuring all IT resources contribute effectively to the achievement of the Bank’s strategic goals and objectives

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and maintains a complex, flexible and scalable enterprise architecture framework for the implementation of the Bank’s technology solutions.
• Evaluates the existing technology environment to identify to make recommendations for improvement.
• Provides support in enterprise architecture implementation, improvement and upgrade projects to maintain quality standards.
• Develops and maintains detailed documentation on the Bank’s enterprise architecture for good reference.  
• Manages all risks associated with the Bank’s enterprise IT architecture and ensures compliance with all industry regulatory and security requirements.
• Liaises with development teams to ensure that existing and new applications, systems, solutions and processes meet the needs of the Bank.
• Monitors enterprise architecture methodologies and best practices to ensure compliance with best practices and industry regulations.
• Prepares periodic reports for use by Senior Management for effective decision-making. 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Certification in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, CEA, etc.) and/or IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation, etc.)
