POSITION: END USER SUPPORT OFFICER

DEPARTMENT: TECHNOLOGY - IT OPERATIONS/ IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT

BAND:  O1

ADVERT END DATE: October 23,2025

JOB PURPOSE: The role holder is responsible for providing quick assistance, troubleshooting and resolution of end-user IT related issues.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides first level on-site IT Support for all software and hardware related issues to facilitate IT services to end-users.
  • Manages the Incident and Request Schedule and updates progress of resolution.
  • Performs hardware deployments and replacements when required.
  • Provides training to end-users on how to use the bank’s software and systems when required.
  • Prepares reports on end user activities for management attention.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and recommends improvements to existing systems and processes

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related course
  • At least two (2) years banking experience with at least two (2) years in a similar role.
  • Certification in IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation, etc.)
